THE LAND OF OPEN SHUTTERS
Trześcianka
– (old name - Trościanica) village from 15/16th centuries, the Orthodox Church of St. Michael the Archangel, former Orthodox parish school
Puchły
– picturesque village with ancient wooden architecture, and the Orthodox Church of the Providence of the Holy Mother
Soce
– the Orthodox chapel from the 20th century, buildings with unusual embellishments, shutters

 
BISON MONUMENT
It is a wonderful visiting card of the town and district, placed in the park in the centre of the town, a natural height bison was made from bronze. The monument was created by the sculptor Mr. Jan Siut - former student of the Art Academy In Kraków. The monument is a great attraction not only for tourists but also for town inhabitants.
 
SŁAWOMIR SMYK’S SCULPTURE GALLERY

Sculpture workshop and exhibition of contemporary wooden sculpture.
 
„BACHMATY” ARTIFICIAL LAKE
Recreation centre in Dubicze Cerkiewne, tel. (085) 682 79 99 – all year;
(085) 685 20 54 – only June-September).
It is possible to rent a bungalow or a room, as well as to hire water equipment there
 
„SIEMIANÓWKA” ARTIFICIAL LAKE
It is one of the biggest artificial lakes in River Narew; perfect place for fishing and bird watching.
 
"REPCZYCE” ARTIFICIAL LAKE
Newly built artificial lake on Nurzec River. There are a camping place and an equipment hire point.
 
VILLAGE CLUB IN LEWKOWO STARE
Pottery classes take place here every Wednesday at 4pm.Other dates available by prior arrangements, tel. (085) 681 61 07
 
FURNITURE FOR HANDICAPPED CHILDREN – ARTIST ASSOCIATION
Furniture exhibition. Between May, 15th and September, 30th there is a summer gallery open there. Free visiting from 9am. to 5pm. There is a furniture festival in August and Art. Students’ Exhibition in September, Hajnówka; 10, Parkowa St., tel. (085) 682 47 15.
 
THE COMMUNE CULTURE CENTRE IN DUBICZE CERKIEWNE
Different workshops (embroidery, production of birch, wicker, straw) are organised there. Appoitments by prior arrangement, tel. (085) 682 79 99.
