FOREST PECULIARITIES (Leśne osobliwości)
There are 12
stops near forest lakes by the Topiło village,where some information
boards e.g. “forest family” or “what is going on in the pile of dry
twigs” are placed. Numerous processes taking place in forest
ecosystem, as well as some groups of animals and their habitats are
described there. |

GÓRNIAŃSKIE MEADOWS
(4km)
It starts by
the crossroads of Górna and Wrzosowa streets in Hajnówka. The path
leads through marshy meadows and peat bogs. There are numerous rare
bird species: black stork, crane. |

FOREST LANDSCAPE (Krajobrazy Puszczy) (4,5km)
The path presents forest communities on 22
stops, leads from Białowieża to the “Wysokie bagno” reserve and to
The Forest Education Centre „Jagiellońskie”. |

BISON’S RIBS (Żebra Żubra)
(3,5km)
This path is a net of foot-bridges and dams
going near the monumental trees, mainly through the wet alder and
adler-ash forests, as well as through overgrown meadows in Narewka
river’s valley, the beginning is by the road Białowieża – Pogorzelce. |

FOREST TREES
(Puszczańskie Drzewa)
(4km)
The path leads through the oak-hornbeam-lime
forests full of splendid trees among which there are ash-trees, and
pines. It starts in Białowieża in the Władysław Szafer Landscape
Reserve and ends in the European Bison Show Reserve. |

THE KINGS AND
LITHUANIAN PRINCES’S OAKS TRACK
(Szlak Dębów Królewskich)
The path goes along the oaks which are 150-500
years old and are called after Polish and Lithuanian monarchs, who
used to hunt in these woods.

THE POWER PLACE (Miejsce Mocy) (0,3km)
Begins by the road Białowieża - Hajnówka;
situated in the area of positive radiation, it used to be an Old
Slavic place of worship. There is a mysterious concentration of
trees, deformed spruces, oaks, pear trees, hawthorn and a stone
circle there. A hollow nearby is constantly filled with water. The
Power Place is well known for its so called positive radiation. |

UNDER THE OAKS (Pod Dębami) (9km)
The path in Swinoroje with 14 stops presenting
different methods of animal breeding used by foresters, methods of
fighting with bark beetle, young trees nursery and concentration of
burial moulds. |

MASIEWO – SIEMIANÓWKA LAKE (Masiewo - Zalew Siemianówka)
(9km)
This path was prepared by the Polish Society for
the Protection of Birds, it shows different types of woods. It ends
by the viewing tower by Siemianówka artificial lake. |

BISON’S TRACES TRACK (Tropem Żubra) (20km)
It’s a tourist walking and bike track. It leads
through the Białowieski Natioal Park and the Browsk Forestry areas.
This path joins two places of bisons winter feeding: Kosy Most (the
Slanting Bridge) and Babia Góra. |
